First Edition BOLOGNA

Three days of music, performances, exhibitions, debates, themed “vintage” – in the heart of Bologna NATIVE ART, under the patronage of the Municipality of Bologna, it presents the first edition of “WE LOVE VINTAGE”, which takes place on Friday 22, Saturday 23 and Sunday, July 24, 2011 at the POL TWO MADONNE in Bologna. Three days of music, exhibitions, a broad market exhibition of clothing and accessories, objects of worship and rare pieces of furniture, vinyl and video games, all strictly “vintage”, ie the Sixties and Seventies.

 

Special guests of the festival are two authentic stars of the world’s progressive music: David Cross and Mel Collins, coming from a band absolutely industry leader, King Crimson, which since the late seventies had elevated to the rank of art rock the rising time progressive movement. They will perform with Arts & amp; Crafts, horse band between progressive and jazz-rock that since the beginning has built its own very original style, as to be defined as “the progressive group of jazz-rock and the most progressive” jazz-rock group. During the three evenings alternate on stage other well-known names, from CCLR (Cavalli Cocchi, Lanzetti, Roversi) with Flaco Biondini and guest Aldo Tagliapietra (was the founder of the Orme in 1966, and his falsetto voice will give the group one of its major elements of continuity and recognition) the Agreement Contrari and Prophexy with host Richard Sinclair (famous bassist, guitarist and British singer, had founded in the seventies of the historical groups of Canterbury, as the Caravan and Hatfield and the North, played in the legendary Camel Andy Latimer and Bardens Peter, besides having played in the Rock Bottom masterpiece by Robert Wyatt and numerous side projects including jazz-rock, progressive and acoustic music); and even Paolo Schianchi (composer, researcher and inventor, plays all the existing variants of the guitar, has collaborated with among others the Parisian band Five O’Clock Jazz Group, Alberto Radius, the legendary guitarist and arranger of Lucio Battisti, Bernardo Lanzetti ( PFM) and Jim Donovan, repeatedly awarded platinum status in historical member of Rusted Root); Alex Carpani, Thotemico the altar, and Stereokimono.
