Video by Paolo Piscolla @ “Centro Musicale Cà Vaina” – Imola (Bologna) – Italy (2012).
Some excerpts from “Prismosfera” and “Ki” have been used as the soundtrack of the DVD “Rosso Verzegnis”.
The DVD “Rosso Verzegnis: esperienza didattica sul territorio” is a project promoted by the municipality of Verzegnis and funded by the European Union, made with the State School Gian Francesco da Tolmezzo.
The purpose of this experience of integration between school and territory has been to try to understand the evolution over time of a sector, such as the red marble, closely linked to the territory of Verzegnis.
In the computer of the research synthesis support I include three documents: “The Verzegnis red marble” in which the theme was developed from the unique aspects of the natural environment of the territory of Verzegnis, and then go into that with the history of cava, the current reality and uses the marble also in the artistic event through the “sculpture in the red” and finally the educational package path “the historical street of marble Verzegnis”. To underline the practical teaching experience made with Edi Carrer, known sculptor of Buia and synthesized in the second video document “sculpture Stage”, in which the students were able to retrace, both in theory and in practice, the execution phases of a sculpture, drawing the work completed.
One of our songs (“Istanbul di Giorno”) was used as the soundtrack of the DVD “The knotted framework – The tied in knots picture” artist Veronese Eliana Masala.
“THE TIED IN KNOTS PICTURE: It is strange. Very strange. A very strange article in soft silk. It seems a toy, but it could be a “travel-sculpture” (this was the name that the great Italian Artist Bruno Munari has given to the “origami”). It is fascinating. But it is like a chameleon: don’t believe in what you are looking at. The truth is inside. If you really want to meet it, you must reach the nucleus loosening every knot like a curious child. The result will be you stupefied!” (Eliana Masala).
